Scaling New Heights for a Great Cause: Hammond Faculty Members Trek Up Snowdon to Support North West Cancer Research

Get ready to cheer on our adventurous faculty members, Haley Thorbinson and Lucia Martin, as they take on the ultimate challenge—an overnight trek up Snowdon, aiming to reach the summit by sunrise! And they’re not doing it just for the thrill; they’re doing it to raise vital funds for North West Cancer Research.

On Saturday 11th May, Haley and Lucia will embark on this daring adventure, pushing their limits to support a cause close to their hearts. Scaling Snowdon overnight is no small feat, but their determination to make a difference in the fight against cancer is truly inspiring.

We want to send them all the best wishes and good vibes as they trek towards the summit under the stars, with the goal of welcoming the sunrise from the highest point in Wales.

If you’d like to show your support and contribute to this incredible cause, you can donate to their fundraising efforts through the following links:

Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact in funding vital cancer research initiatives in the North West. Together, we can help make a difference and support those affected by cancer.
