Forces Families and CEA
The Hammond is an accepted school for Continuity of Education Allowance from the UK Government.
The main aim of CEA is to help families of UK Armed Forces (and certain eligible MoD-civilian / diplomatic families) maintain a stable education for their children even when the family moves frequently due to service commitments.
Specifically, CEA provides a 90% contribution toward boarding-school fees so that a child can stay at the same school, regardless of where the parents are posted.
The Hammond offers specialist, full-time performing arts training to pupils from military backgrounds, across school and college courses. We exist to inspire, nurture, and educate the next generation of learners and performers by fostering a culture of excellence, curiosity, academic success, storytelling, and innovation.

How to Claim Continuity of Education Allowance
If youβre eligible to claim CEA, you must contact the MOD Childrenβs Education Advisory Service (CEAS) to obtain a unique serial number which then needs to be shown to the Joint Personnel Administration (JPA). If theyβre satisfied youβre eligible, you will receive an eligibility certificate from the Pay and Allowances Casework and Complaints Cell (DBS PACCC).
You can claim the latest CEA instalment three times a year, within a specified timeframe. It is advised to keep the receipt as proof you have used the money to pay School fees.
