    Job Purpose

    We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational teacher of Food, Nutrition who can inspire a genuine love of learning. The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering a stimulating, inclusive, and engaging curriculum at The Hammond, teaching Food and Nutrition at Key Stage 3 and the Level 2 WJEC Award in Hospitality and Catering at Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small and successful Food Technology department within an environment where students are enthusiastic and academic excellence is valued.

    This role offers the opportunity to work in a wonderful school where pupils are motivated, engaged, and eager to succeed. With the advantage of small class sizes, you will be able to build strong relationships and provide a high level of individual support. This is a part-time position, working one full day per week, ideal for someone seeking a rewarding and flexible teaching role.

    The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher. In particular the post holder’s key responsibilities will be for improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.

  • Job Role:Pastoral Keyworker SEND (Fixed Term until January 2027) 

    Accountable to:SENDCo

    Salary: Β£21,650 (term time only) 

    The Post

    We are seeking a warm, personable, understanding, caring professional with a good understanding of SEND and safeguarding.  They will provide consistent pastoral and emotional support for an identified student with autism, ADHD and associated anxiety, sensory processing, and regulation needs.  

    The postholder will act as a trusted adult and keyworker, ensuring the student feels safe, supported, and understood throughout the school day.  

    This is not a classroom teaching assistant role, but a specialist pastoral position focusing on wellbeing, co-regulation, and emotional safety to enable access to learning.
