The Hammond is proud to provide world-class, professional training to talented and passionate young performers, regardless of financial background. In order to facilitate healthy, successful and sustainable careers in performing arts, and in an ever-changing global community, The Hammond relies on sponsorship and support from friends of The Hammond.
The Hammond is committed to supporting talented young people from all socio-economic backgrounds, and will do everything possible to make the arts accessible to all. The offer of financial support to help prospective performers access training, and to offer the resources to make them competitive is The Hammond’s 2022-23 commitment.
Campaign Gifts £100 - £2,000
Donations to support day-to-day resources for all young performers.
For example:
•Resource and Learning Hub donations (books, IT equipment)
•Wellbeing donations (garden planters, excursions, guests)
•Named career development grant
•Named chair in the theatre
•Named items in The Hammond gardens
Special Gifts £2,000 - £5,000
Donations to enhance the training and experiences of young performers.
For example:
•Named bursary (one year)
•Named studio or learning space (one year)
• Recognition of your gift at the entrance to The Hammond
•Name advertised on The Hammond mini-bus
Leadership Gifts £5,000 - £10,000
Donations to enhance the living and learning environment of young performers.
For example:
•Named bursary (two years)
•Named studio or learning space (two years)
•Named common area in boarding house
•Furniture donations for boarding house
•Sponsor aspects of a performance
•Sponsor an external Hammond event
Pace-Setting Gifts £10,000 - £20,000
Donations to further enhance levels of competition in the performance industry.
For example:
•Named bursary (three years)
•Named studio or learning space (three years)
•Sponsor The Hammond gym (facilities, equipment)
•Sponsor classroom refurbishment
•External renovation of buildings
•Support development of building a new boarding house
Transformational Gifts £20,000+
Life changing donations for our young performers.
For example:
•Named bursary (five years)
•Named studio or learning space (five years)
•Sponsor the development of building a new boarding house
•Sponsor school transport (mini bus)
