Aaron trained at Laine Theatre Arts and has enjoyed an international career spanning theatre, film, television and arena performances for audiences of up to 30,000. His credits include Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, We Will Rock You, West Side Story, Grease, FAME!, White Christmas and Mamma Mia! on its international tour, alongside performances with artists and creatives including Meryl Streep, CHER, Brian May and Ben Elton. As a choreographer, Aaron has created productions across the UK and internationally, while his teaching career includes roles as Director of Dance at The Hammond, Senior Lecturer at the Northern Ballet School and Lecturer/Practitioner at Leeds Conservatoire.

Shaun Aquilina is a writer and performer. He began his professional career at the age of 13 in the West End production of Oliver!. He went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music and sang for opera companies including Opera Holland Park and Northern Ireland Opera, and in large-scale choral works across Europe, including the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Paris Philharmonie, and Hamburg Elbphilhamornie.

He has written two books on musical theatre. The first, Musical Theatre for the Female Voice, is a guide to musical theatre singing, published by Routledge. The second, The Industry Guide to Musical Theatre Auditions, is an up-to-date and authoritative guide to auditioning, featuring interviews with leading West End creatives, and published by Bloomsbury.

Alison Hughes has built an extensive career in musical theatre, television and choreography across the UK and Germany. Her theatre credits include Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, Elisabeth, 42nd Street and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She has also performed alongside artists including Will Smith and Kylie Minogue, and served as Co-Choreographer and later Choreographer for Top of the Pops Germany, creating performances for a wide range of international recording artists. Alison brings a wealth of industry experience in performance, choreography and production.

A regular teacher and lecturer for Can You Dance? (CYD?) an adjudicator at dance competitions across the UK and internationally.

With over 24 years of experience in dance education, I specialise in injury prevention and rehabilitation, helping students perform at their best while promoting long-term physical health and safe training practices. My expertise includes physical screening, rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, Pilates, strength and conditioning, and anatomy, underpinned by qualifications in Dance Theatre, Dance Pedagogy, Sports Therapy and Physiotherapy. Combining clinical knowledge with extensive teaching and curriculum leadership experience, I am passionate about supporting the whole performer, empowering students to train safely, recover effectively and build sustainable careers in the performing arts.
