As we continue to develop our strategic vision and strengthen our governance, we are seeking an inspiring and experienced Chair to lead our Board and support the continued success of The Hammond. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader who is passionate about education and organisational excellence. Working closely with the Principal and Board members, the Chair will help shape the future direction of The Hammond. 

The position is voluntary, with reasonable expenses reimbursed.

The Hammond is seeking four committed and experienced individuals to join its Board as Non‑Executive Directors.  As a Non-Executive Director will not only take part in the Board, you will also be required to chair a sub-Board meeting usually relating to your expertise.  

As The Hammond continues to evolve and strengthen its governance arrangements, we are looking for candidates who can bring specialist expertise in one or more of the following areas: 

• Estates and Facilities

• Strategy and Governance

• Legal/Corporate Counsel

• Education

While each Board member will bring a specialist area of expertise, members will work collaboratively to support strategic decision-making, effective governance, and long-term sustainability. 

The positions are voluntary, with reasonable expenses reimbursed.
