Student Voice and School Parliament
At The Hammond, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to shape the community to which they belong.
Student voice is at the heart of school life, and we are committed to ensuring that our students are listened to, respected and actively involved in decisions that influence their education and wider school experience. Leadership is not reserved for a select few – it is something we encourage all students to develop through service, collaboration, creativity and initiative.
-
Our School Parliament provides a genuine platform for students to represent their peers, contribute to school improvement, lead projects and organise events. Working alongside staff and senior leaders, students participate in themed committees, discuss new ideas and help shape the future of The Hammond. Their views play an important role in the continual development of the School, ensuring that student perspectives are heard at every level. Through these opportunities, students develop confidence, communication, teamwork and leadership skills that prepare them not only for life at The Hammond, but for higher education, employment and the professional world beyond.
Don't just take our word for it...
Hear directly from current students and graduates about their training experience, performance opportunities and progression into the industry.
