Why We Need Your Help
The Hammond attracts elite applications from the best young talent across the UK and overseas. Such are the standards set and achieved by The Hammond, only 30% of those applicants are successful in gaining a place at The Hammond. 70% of those accepted will need financial support to take up their coveted place.

To stay true to The Hammond mission in terms of supporting financial accessibility for the most talented students, The Hammond makes every attempt to absorb as much of the funding shortfall as possible. However, the only way this has been possible in the past is through its Scholarship Scheme and philanthropic support, from donors and patrons. The Hammond is now looking to engage new support and sponsorship.
With the on-going challenging economic climate there is a significant increase in demand for The Hammond to find funding for those excelling students who may be facing financial challenges which prevent them from accessing a Hammond education. The Hammond has in the past benefitted from small ad hoc support, donations, however there is now a hope for an ambitious long-term fundraising strategy to meet the increased and urgent need for student financial support through Scholarships.
Ways of Giving
There are various ways to support The Hammond and your support will help us to continue our vision of providing a Hammond education and training to young people regardless of their background. We acknowledge all gifts and update donors regularly on the impact of their support.
One-off Donations
You can choose to make a one-off donation. A single gift, given at a time that suits you, can make an immediate and lasting difference to The Hammond Charity. One-off donations play a vital role in ensuring that exceptionally talented students are able to access the world-class training they deserve, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Your support helps us nurture elite young dancers and performers at a crucial stage in their development, providing them with outstanding teaching, specialist facilities and the intensive training required to prepare them for professional careers at the highest level. One-off gifts allow The Hammond to respond directly to the evolving needs of our students and the demands placed on the Scholarship programme as they arise.

Regular Giving
For many of our most talented young performers, a place at The Hammond is only possible because of the generosity of others. Regular giving plays a vital role in our Scholarship Programme, opening doors for exceptional young people who would otherwise be unable to access the elite training, opportunities and support that can change the course of their lives.

Stars Campaign
The Hammond Stars Campaign offers our loyal supporters an opportunity to really be a part of our Hammond Community. By sponsoring a seat for a year in the prestigious Hammond Theatre you will be supporting our incredibly talented young students and helping to maintain the professional quality of our performances.
The money raised will directly support our elite productions each year, alongside our scholarship fund. With limited seats available this is a very special way to remember a loved one or celebrate a birthday or special milestone.
Gold Star Sponsorship
costs £500 a year.
This will ensure your have early bird access to performance tickets, your name is featured on a front row seat, and also on the campaign’s recognition wall at the entrance of the Theatre, as well as your name being featured in every production programme and on the website.
Silver Star Sponsorship
costs £300 a year.
This will ensure your name is featured on a mid-row seat, as well as your name being featured in every production programme and on the website.
Bronze Star Sponsorship
costs £150 a year.
This will ensure your name is featured on a back-row or upper-level seat, as well as your name being featured on the website.

Fundraise For Us
Supporting The Hammond School through fundraising is a wonderful way to help nurture the next generation of talented young performers while bringing people together for a shared cause. If you are a UK Tax Payer, you can increase the value of your gift to The Hammond by allowing us to claim Gift Aid on your donation. This adds 25p for every £1 you donate to the total of your donation, without costing you an extra penny.
If you pay tax at the higher or additional rate, you can claim the difference between the rate you pay and basic rate on your donation. Gift Aid can be applied to both one-off donations and regular donations made by Direct Debit or Standing Order.
