Your Training Journey
Pre Professionals
(14 - 18)
This intensive program for Pre-Professionals provides advanced training in your chosen theatrical discipline, equipping students with the skills and technique needed for a long and fulfilling career in the arts.
The focus is twofold: technical excellence and artistic expression. We cultivate your individuality in a safe and supportive environment, preparing you for the demands of the professional theatre industry.
These courses also provide a firm-footing for students interested in applying to join The Hammond’s Professional Dance, Professional Musical Theatre or Acting & Performance courses for students aged 16 and above.
Young Creatives
(11-14)
Young Creatives will deepen their skills in acting, musical theatre, dance, and classical dance, developing the discipline and artistry needed to become truly unique performers.
This stage focuses on nurturing creativity and individuality, guiding young artists to embrace their own unique style.
These courses also provide a strong foundation to join The Hammond's acclaimed School courses in Dance or Acting & Musical Theatre in Years 7 to 9.
Our timetable is designed to offer fully customisable training to every student.
Whether you choose the Acting & Musical Theatre Pathway, Dance & Musical Theatre Pathway, or the Dance & Classical Dance Pathway, our course schedules provide the flexibility you need. Students have the option to attend full-day (two courses running consecutively) or half-day sessions (completing one 10-week course at a time) based on their preferences.
The choice is entirely theirs. Each student is unique, and we’ve designed Hammond Extra training to reflect that.
